Akrapovic use only pre-impregnated carbon fiber, since it has to provide extreme tensile strength and withstand high temperatures. They use state-of-the-art vacuum techniques in autoclaves to produce their carbon parts, and all laminating is done manually, which is the only way to guarantee superior quality.

Contrary to rumour Akrapovic have NOT stopped making these carbon parts. The have only stopped selling direct via their web site. New parts always being added.
