K & N motorcycle air filters use a much less restrictive filter element than original equipment types. K & N air filters provide your engine with better protection and lets it breath easier to improve power and torque.
The fabric filter media is protected by an epoxy coated aluminium screen mesh which also straightens airflow. The filter utilizes an accordion fold design to provide up to 5 times the normal filtering surface of non-pleated filters. Cleaning is recommended once a year or when heavy deposits have built up, the air filters are washable and guaranteed for life. A cleaning kit can be found in the K&N accessories section.
